meat product. Spam is marketed by the Hormel meat company. It consists of ground up and cooked pork shoulders.

It is high in protein and fat content and therefore a survival food par excellance. World War II C rations contained

Spam and tons of the stuff was shipped to Russia to feed its army fighting in the bitter cold. Attention Moderns!
